III.       Recruitment Initiatives 

Establishment of training programs designed to enable unit personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them for higher level positions.

  1. 1)Training program for CATV Installers to learn utility location and best practices ongoing in 2014/2015.
  2. 2)Training program for System Technician cross-training for advanced system troubleshooting.
  3. 3)Training program for Tech Support personnel to learn Arris remote diagnostic evaluation and remote wireless management.
  4. 4)Training program ongoing in 2014/2015 for Tech Support/Dispatch personnel to cross-train on each position’s essential duties.

Provision of training to management level personnel as to methods of ensuring equal employment opportunity and preventing discrimination.

  1. 1)December 9, 2014 Plant TiftNet management conference with consultant to review EEO Policies & Procedures to ensure EEO program compliance for the upcoming year.
  2. 2)Updated and replaced our public EEO posters and materials in May 2015.
